Andy was born and raised in Oklahoma. He holds a Bachelor degree in Christian Ministry and Biblical Studies from Randall University. Andy and his wife Amber met while attending Randall University and have been married and serving in ministry together for 19 years. They have 4 sons (Charlie-15; Keygan-13; David-11; Toby-8). They are also legal guardians for Amber's cousin Byron who is 42 and has Downs Syndrome.

The Haskins moved to Arkansas to pastor Ballew’s Chapel Free Will Baptist Church in November 2014. Andy has served on the ASM board 2018 until January of this year.

Andy says, “We are excited to begin this new season of ministry. I look forward to working with our churches all across the state to train up future generations of believers to become actively engaged in the work of the local church and reaching the lost both at home and abroad. ASM is more than Camp and CTS. I hope to be able to come alongside our churches and associations that have their own camps or maybe they aren’t able to participate in CTS, to encourage them and help them find ways that they can invest in the lives of the students in their churches and communities in a meaningful and lasting way.”
