Students Trained and Response Ready

STARR provides a platform for both training and hands-on activities for High School students that have a desire to become “Servant Leaders” within their peer groups, local churches, and communities.

STARR is open to High School Students who are currently in the 10th-12th grade when they apply.

STARR will provide students training in spiritual gifts, personal evangelism, problem solving, cultural trends and leadership skills. Students will also able to make a difference through community service projects, summer camp preparation and summer camp activities. Upon completion of the training week held at Camp Beaverfork, participants will serve as assistants in several ministry and activity areas during the summer camp sessions.

Students that are accepted to the STARR Team will be required to attend a mandatory training week and expected to serve during all four sessions of summer camp. There will be ministry opportunities during the weekends at local FWB churches.
Training Week begins Monday, May 26, 2025. Check in at 5:30 p.m.
Camp sessions ends Saturday, June 21, 2025 at approximately 2:00 p.m. (following clean up)

2025 Applications OPEN
Each student must complete the online application, which can be found under the “2025 Application” button by March 12, 2025.
Applicants will be required to pay a one-time, nonrefundable application fee of $50. If accepted, no further payment will be required.
Applicants will give three (3) personal references. These references will be emailed a form to fill out. Personal reference forms must be turned in by March 26, 2025.
Acceptance emails will be sent out Monday, April 7, 2025.
